Yamaha has officially launched the new R15M Carbon Fibre Edition, offering a fresh aesthetic and enhanced features for enthusiasts. The updated model is priced at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom), a premium over the standard Metallic Grey variant, which remains available for ₹1.98 lakh.
Key Features:
- Carbon Fibre Design: The new edition features a striking carbon fibre pattern achieved through a sophisticated water-dipping technique. This design update is applied to the front cowl, side fairing, and rear fender, giving the bike a premium and dynamic appearance. The front fender is now blacked-out, and the fairing and fuel tank boast new graphics.
- Enhanced Functionality: The R15M now includes turn-by-turn navigation and controls for music and volume, which can be accessed via the Yamaha Y-Connect app on a smartphone. These functions are managed through updated switchgear on the bike.
- Mechanical Specifications: The R15M retains its core mechanical features with a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 18.4 bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque. It continues to offer a 6-speed gearbox with quickshifter, USD fork suspension, a monoshock rear, and dual-disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
